Following 12 months of re development works the newly extended and refurbished Tiumpanhead Community Centre was re-opened on Friday 20th January 2005 by local resident and association committee member Donald Wilson.

The centre comprises; the original small hall which has been refurbished and can be used as a single unit or divided by means of a folding partition to form a large general purpose room (A) and a smaller room (B) suitable for meetings or similar small community events; A large modern kitchen and a sizeable café area with access onto a paved terrace area and to the community gardens. The centre is capable of supporting 2 to 3 small events simultaneously or larger events when used as a whole or when combined with the main school hall.

The committee wish to encourage everyone in the Point area  and further afield ,not just residents of Tiumpanhead, to make use of the centre and they are reminded that the hall is available for let at very competitive rates.
